XRPT REPORT

To ensure accurate cash handling and protect the integrity of our operations, please review the following POS procedures and security updates:


XRPT Report Access
The XRPT report displays total sales without closing the shift.

This report provides a snapshot of sales activity during an open shift.

Security Update
To strengthen internal controls and prevent potential theft:

Access to the XRPT report will be restricted.

The password security level will be raised to Level 9.

Only authorized personnel will be permitted to access this function.

Please feel free to reach out for help changing security Password.

 Reason for Restriction
If improperly used, the XRPT report could allow an employee to:

Sell items without ringing them into the POS system.

Run an XRPT report to view the reported sales totals.

Submit only the amount reflected in the POS report.

Keep any unreported cash collected from transactions that were not entered into the system.

Restricting access to this report is a preventative measure designed to protect the business, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain accountability.
